WORKSHOP: Photographing Wildlife and Coastal Landscapes

Phil’s workshop will explore what makes a good photograph in terms of composition and subject matter. Phil will share his 30 years of experience as a professional photographer, and give tips and advice for taking the best photographs. Participants will need to bring their own camera equipment and be prepared to walk between two and three miles on the coast path. On your return, the workshop will continue with photo editing – e.g. resizing for web page / internet.
Phil Holden is a professional photographer who travels to beaches near and far in search of the perfect waves and light as a pioneering water photographer. His work has been published worldwide in surf publications and exhibitions and he is author and photographer of ‘All Action Wind and Surf’ book. In addition to being Principal Photographer of Edge Magazine and Editor of Surf Magazine, his work has graced the cover of London Illustrated News, The Times and numerous international publications. Phil was also an accredited photographer of the 2012 Olympics Sailing events at Weymouth.
Workshop capacity: Maximum of eight people.
Age Restrictions: Suitable for all ages from eleven years upwards.
